IMPACT Personal Safety of Colorado is a not-for-profit organization of men and women dedicated to restoring empowerment and choice by equipping our participants with the emotional, verbal, and physical skills to move freely in the world. IMPACT is dedicated to ending the cycle of violence by teaching empowerment skills such as awareness, communication, personal safety, and self-defense techniques to adults and children.

You Will Learn and Practice:

AWARENESS. Know who is present and what is going on around you. We teach you ways to pay attention to your surroundings and trust your intuition in order to avoid confrontations and to reduce stress and anxiety.

PREVENTION. Keep a confrontation from escalating. We teach you to use communication skills to set positive boundaries in your daily life and to prevent dangerous situations.

RESPONSE. Become your own best advocate and make use of your fighting spirit. If a violent confrontation can’t be avoided, we teach you to defend yourself, overcome your assailant, and get to safety.

YOCO: The Yoga Collective is a group of inspired and inspiring yoga teachers, working together to bring yoga and all its rich practices to as many people in our community as possible. We hope to make yoga accessible and enjoyable to anyone who is interested in starting down that path with us, or broadening or deepening their personal practice. We strongly value community and participation. We aspire to create a welcoming, safe environment where people can gather and share in practicing yoga in all its many forms.   Each instructor embraces the idea of meeting ourselves where we are. We hope to share all the beauty of yoga and that journey with each of you.
We offer a variety of donation based yoga classes currently at the Nourished Health Wellness Center and Mayu Sanctuary.
